What's Included?
What to expect from your group surf lessons in Punta Cana?
Before your lesson, you can check the latest conditions on Surfline’s Playa Macao surf report so you arrive at Macao Beach already knowing what the waves look like.
After your included hotel pickup, you’ll arrive at Macao Surf Camp to get fitted with a rash guard and the right surfboard for your level for your group surf lessons in Punta Cana.
Beginners start with a short theory and safety lesson on the beach, followed by sand practice before heading into the water. Intermediate and advanced surfers typically go straight to the ocean after a quick evaluation.
Once in the water, your instructor stays close—coaching you, helping you catch waves, and refining your technique in real time. If you’d like, you can take a short optional mid-lesson break to rest and hydrate, then head back in to complete your two-hour session.
When your lesson ends, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.
